I am starting this blog so that anyone who is interested can follow along on our journey to adopt a little girl with Down Syndrome from another country. The fact that I made it this far in setting up this blog is as much of a miracle as the adoption itself! Anyone who knows me knows I am the most computer challenged person ever. I don't have an iphone or Facebook. That is something else I am considering, but first things first. I wanted to do this blog because I have been so encouraged by some amazing families through their adoption blogs. I will post a link to them as soon as i figure out how! :) I will also be adding some pictures. Yes I have to figure that out also...don't laugh! Be back soon and thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeleteThank so much. I am trying! I will have a picture on here before you know it! :) It is amazing to have people that I haven't even met praying for my family. Thank you so much!
DeleteI've been praying for your family for a long time, and I didn't even know it :) I was Dayna's Angel Tree Warrior until she moved to the MFFM page, and I was so excited to learn that she had a family! There is a wonderful group of women on FB that are always working together to support, pray, and fund raise for families in the process. We'd love to have you there if you decide to join :) Let me tell you there are so many women who LOVE your little girl! She is such an amazing little light, and I just know that you will both bless each other beyond measure! I can't wait to follow your journey, and if there is anything I can do to help you bring your sweet girl home I will! I was Dayna'a angel tree warrior so I've already committed to raise a 1,000 dollars for her, and I plan to still do that for her! Blessings, Michele :)
ReplyDeleteIt is so wonderful to hear from you. Thank you so much for the prayers you have already prayed for Dayna and for our family. It is amazing to have people I haven't even met praying for us but believe me I can feel those prayers tonight and it is awesome! I have just about figured out this blog thing and I promise I am going to join you very soon on facebook. This is all so new to me and I am going to need all the advice, encouragement, wisdom, and help that I can get! Thanks again so much! Heidi
